Job Description:
This is a wonderful opportunity for a dynamic hairstylist to work onboard a luxury cruiseship. You will have experience in both men’s and women’s hairdressing.
Start Date: February 2011
Salary: $1300-1800 USD per Month inc tips
Requirements:
* NVQ Level 3 (working experience gained through the qualification)
or NVQ Level 2 with 2 years working experience
* Sociable outgoing personality
* Ability to work and live within a multi-national community
* Fluent English
* Discipline and commitment
* Able to deal with a busy column and demanding clientele
Benefits include:
Free flights, accommodation (shared Cabin) food and health care.
This is for a 4 month contract. Candidates who successfully complete their first contract will then be offered subsequent contracts thereafter. 5 weeks holiday between contracts.
Salary:
Salary will be between $1300-1800 U.S. per month tax free depending on gratuities and cruise line. Possibilities for promotion to Assistant Salon Manager. Salary paid into your existing bank account.
You will typically work a 50 hour week depending on the ships itinerary
UK working hours legislation does not apply outside of the UK.
