Financije / Na Princessu preko CREW card $15 fee

Jasno, jasno. Potpuno si u pravu. Ali... 15$ + 0.5$ + 'minimalna naplata usluge' za podizanje gotovine.

I to bih htio izbjeći ako je moguće. Znači hoću platiti 0 naknada i eventualno malo zaraditi na tečajnoj razlici ako sam strpljiv (dnevnoj, ne inter-day). :)

Što se tiče ove varijante sa Access Cardom, zvuči super ali 'minimalna naknada' za gotovinu me zanima točno kolika je, ako netko zna.

Jer ima čak i ova razlika: ako prebaciš novce u USD iz US banke, direktno na USD devizni račun u HR (bez forex posrednika, platiš naknade za deviznu doznaku) i onda odeš u banku i 'podigneš' dolare sa deviznog u kunama, banka ti računa tečaj za efektivu i tu ti onda malo uzme. S druge strane, u istom scenariju ako prebaciš sredstva s deviznog na kunski račun u istoj banci preko internet bankarstva, onda ti ne računaju efektivu već po tečaju HNBa pa tako izbjegneš i tu razliku.

Sve to stoji, ali mene zanima optimalna varijanta za redovno slanje. Zamislite kako bi izgledalo da ljudi koji trguju na stranim burzama koriste western union ili moneygram za transfer love. Nemoguća misija. Nitko ne bi trgovao na stranim tržištima na taj način kao fizička osoba. Svi bi morali otvoriti offshore kompaniju u nekom od 'poreznih rajeva' i unajmiti specijalizirane odvjetnike/brokere da im odrađuju financijske transfere i izbjegavanje oporezivanja kod kuće.

Po svemu što sam istražio, online bank account to bank account transakcije korištenjem forex posrednika su definitivno najisplativije. Nije problem pričekati 2-3 dana da lova sjedne kad garantiraju najbolji exchange rate USD/EUR.
Naravno, s obzirom da je lova na zaštićenom i osiguranom računu kod nijh prije samog transfera, nude opcije i zaključavanja exchange ratea i/ili svakodnevno ponuda exch. ratea mailom za određenu transakciju sve dok se transakcija i ne prihvati/potvrdi. Kod njih nema 'transaction fee', ostvaruju povoljne tečajeve zbog prebacivanja para u 'bulk' znači trže s devizama po nekoliko milijardi odjednom.

Znači scenarij bi bio: primi se plaća u USD na bankovni račun u npr. BOA, prebaci se lova forex posredniku u USD, kod forex posrednika registrira se i domaći račun (SWIFT banke i IBAN računa), forex posrednik onda nudi dnevni 'quote' za prebacivanje love iz USD u EUR na devizni račun u domaću banku. Svi troškovi vide se unaprijed, a prije odobrenja transakcije. Znači napišu koliko EUR će sjesti na račun u HR po trenutnom tečaju. Igrajući se s brojevima i forex quotes došao sam do zaključka da je ovakav servis ekvivalentan prenošenju love u torbi, a upravo zbog povoljnog USD/EUR tečaja koji nude.

Toliko o teoriji. Čim potvrdim eksperimentom, stavit ću post na forum.

Da li je netko koristio www.tranzfers.com za slanje novaca u HR?

Više različitih izvora i 'review' stranica na netu navodi Tranzfers kao jedan od najboljih online servisa za overseas slanje novaca.

Piše da rade sa 'Europe' bankama, valjda je i HR u pitanju.

Poslao sam im mail i tražio sam ih quote za iznos preko 3000USD te detaljni ispis svih fees i service charges za takvu transakciju.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1.     Responsible for the safe, efficient and cost effective operation and maintenance of electrical machinery and equipment on board through the use of good electrical and engineering practice.         

2.     Responsible for the maintenance of Medium Voltage Switchgear, Navigational Aids, PLC Control & Automation Systems, Communications and Entertainment Systems on a modern Cruise Ship.         

3.     Under the direction of the 1st Electro-Technical Officer, will trouble shoot problems and complete repairs in compliance with safe working practices and good engineering principles.         

4.     Maintenance and repair of ship's elevators ensuring that all work is carried out in accordance with all relevant safety standards and Fleet Instructions         

5.     Service maintenance, repairs and fault finding of the onboard fire detection system. To ensure that all faulty equipment is landed in compliance with current environmental policies and stocks are readily maintained.         

6.     Monitoring of cathodic protection systems for the hull and all swimming pools onboard ensuring that all daily and weekly cathodic protection readings are accurately recorded and maintained         

7.     Responsible for safe working operation, repairs and fault finding of accommodation ladders, baggage doors, shell doors and tender platforms ensuring that all work is carried out in accordance with relevant safety standards and Fleet Instructions         

8.     Responsible for the organization of electrical stores and stock control for electrical consumables and tools. To ensure that the electrical workshop is kept clean and that all tools are returned complete after use         

9.     Be aware of, and actively participate in, the safety responsibilities associated with this position.       

10.     Uphold and maintain by example, at all times, all aspects of the customer care programme for the associated brand.  Ensure all staff under his/her supervision are fully trained in and practice the principles of the program, producing the highest level of passenger/crew service.       

11.     Perform any and all such duties as may be assigned by the Staff Electro-Technical Officer and/or other senior management.       

12.     Training of staff as required

Na ovakvo pitanje možeš jedino sam odgovoriti. Svatko ima neku životnu priču koja se ne može u par rečenica svesti na jedno jednostavno pitanje.

Moje mišljenje je da je cruiser samo kratkoročno rješenje, odnosno, privremeni bijeg od okoline/situacije ili rješenje za trenutne financijske probleme.

Nakon odrađenih par ugovora na cruiseru, 'kod kuće' se neće ništa bitno promjeniti. Biti ćeš nekoliko godina stariji s nešto novaca u džepu.
OTOH, činjenica je da će te takvo iskustvo sigurno na neki način promjeniti tj. utjecati na način kako razmišljaš jer se očito nisi još 'našao' u životu pa ti se možda ukažu ili se dosjetiš nekih novih prilika.

Sama 'prijava' za rad na cruiseru ne zahtjeva u startu neka velika ulaganja, tek kad dobiješ posao očekuj neke veće izdatke. Nije to sad odluka tipa 'ići na faks ili na cruiser'. Moj ti je savjet da upišeš još tu godinu faksa i paralelno tažiš posao na cruiseru. Pogotovo ako bi u startu želio malo bolju poziciju. Zašto ne bi godinu dana proveo na studiju i završavanju faksa i pripremao se za rad na cruiseru na nekoj potencijalno 'boljoj' poziciji?

U slučaju da odlučiš odustati od faksa i ići s prijavom, očekuj da bi se moglo dogoditi i da prođe pola godine, a od posla još ništa.

Strpljen, spašen. Samo pametno. :)

Što se tiče agencija, moraš ići ili direktno preko cruise kompanija ili preko agencija za ukrcaj posade ('pravih' pomoraca). :)

Osim samo škole i (znatnog) iskustva i D2 (Basic Safety Training), bit će ti potrebni i dodatni STCW-95 certifikati u matrikuli poput OOW - Officer Of The Watch, a ovisno o konkretnoj poziciji/kompaniji. Raspitaj se na pomorac.net što ti treba da bi išao na cruiser kao 'struja'.

Za početak jedino za što bi mogao aplicirati (koliko ja znam) su 4th E/O ili sl pozicije.

Možda ti je najbolje prvo odraditi kadeturu/asistenturu na nekom kontejnerašu, Ro/RO, bulk... što god uhvatiš pa tek onda na cruiser.

Moji omiljeni slučajevi su kad je lik uvjerio nigerijske scammere da mu prepišu cijelu Harry Potter knjigu rukom i pošalju stranicu po stranicu mailom te da će im platiti po stranici. Najgore je što su to i napravili (sve je objavio). Drugi omiljeni je kad je poslao svoju sliku da mu napravi lik bistu od drveta.

Znatno je uvjerljivije odradio scam od njih. Sva korespodencija je objavljena na stranici.

Eto malo da se zabavljaš dok čekaš pravi odgovor.

EDIT: U slučaju da nisam bio jasan - mislim da je ovo prijevara. Email adresa je blacklistana, pregršt gramatičkih pogrešaka, 'wall of text' da te obeshrabri od detaljnog čitanja pa onda 'čarobni uvjeti rada' tipa: 401k plan (nema šanse), dental, vision, life, a o plaćama da ne govorim.

POSITION SUMMARY

Svim članovima foruma koji su sad na brodu blizu američke istočne obale želim sve najbolje te da ih promaše uragan Earl i tropska oluja Fiona.

Zamolio bih i veterane da nam opišu malo iskustva (ako su ih imali) sa tropskim olujama i uraganima.

Što se dogodilo, da li je brod promijenio rutu, što s gostima i sl.

Ako je netko radio na nekom otoku tipa Castaway Cay ili u Dominikanskoj Republici za vrijeme oluja, neka nam opiše malo iskustva.

Znam da imamo i novih članova koji idu na otočne pozicije pa sam siguran da i njih to zanima jer mi balkanci baš i nismo navikli na takve vremenske uvjete. :)

Pa pazi. Ako bi se netko već toliko potrudio da piše nove dllove pa server side skriptu koja bi izvodila shell komande ili web server pa klijenta za upravljanje preko HTTPa i još si onda osigurao i fizički pristup na tom udaljenom računalu... Neka mu onda pristup. Zaslužio je. :)

Ali to je jedna od onih Catch-22 fora. Moraš imati pristup da bi kasnije mogao imati pristup. :)

Uostalom, ima i znatno jednostavnijih i bržih metoda od dll injectiona koje ne zahtjevaju vrhunske programerske vještine.

Hehe. Svi brodski sustavi za upravljanje su (koliko ja znam) potpuno odvojeni (fizički) od računalne mreže sa pristupom na Internet (zdrav razum).
Ne bi bilo zanimljivo da neki script kiddy wannabe l33t h4x0r počne voziti neki Cruiser preko Interneta. :)

Mislim da sam negdje pročitao da im je čak i napajanje na odvojenom generatoru, a ne koriste ni kompatibilne protokole. Nije to Ethernet, IP, MPLS i sl. koriste protokole poput HDLC-a za packet switching.

E sad. Čak i da to nije tako. Neka netko ima fizički pristup nekom (Windows, lol) računalu na mostu i da napravi .dll injection preko npr. explorer.exe i da tako podigne ssh servis (sa admin pravima), opet bi takva mreža bila odvojena preko nekog routera od LANa sa Internetom koji bi (naravno) imao dozvoljen outgoing port 80 i isključivo HTTP promet. To znači da ssh shell na remote hostu ne bi mogao 'iznutra' inicirati sesiju s tvojim računalom preko tog routera, čak i da probaš podignuti reverse shell preko porta 80. Znači ne bi prošlo ni sa statefull packet inspection, a kamoli DPI.

Eto to mislim.  :P

Uh pa to ti je super. Bio sam uvjeren da su zatvoreni svi outgoing portovi osim 80, a da je i on restriktiran samo na HTTP promet. Mislim da je negdje na forumu  nešto takvo netko spominjao. Ako ovo radi znači da su najvjerojatnije otvoreni svi outgoing portovi (1...65535), a da nema ni protocol filteringa.

Izgleda da nisu strogi ITevci na Princessu. :)

Kod mene ne bi išlo. Samo bi ti radio neki web chat preko browsera. :)

Ako taj promet nije blokiran na firewallu te ako pogodiš vrijeme kad najmanji broj ljudi koristit Internet, propusnost bi bila dovoljna za video poziv.

Praktično, čisto sumnjam da će ti raditi video, a sav VoIp promet je najvjerojatnije ionako blokiran. Nemoj računati na to.
