Pre-embarkation documents Once your application has been finalised and once Princess Cruises has found an assignment for you, you will receive at home the pre-embarkation documents. These include the following:
1. An appointment letter that will show the name of the vessel you are assigned to and your joining date, together with the relevant instructions
2. The original of our letter addressed to the US consulate that you will have to present together with your application for the necessary US C1/D visa
This is a seaman’s visa that all our Officers and Crew Members must have. We will also send you the instructions on how to obtain the visa, which will be at your own expenses. Once you obtain the visa, please send us a copy via fax or email
