Once on the counter while cleaning he stepped back and stepped on a juice glass that was placed on the counter. The glass broke, he lost his balance and fell on top of coffee cup rack, which are stacked 2 or 3 feet high. Supervisor and security were called to the scene. After he fell he could not move and was wheel chaired into medical dept. X rays were taken. He was given a few days of rest. He was taken to St Thomas Doctor told him that he needs MRI. Next he went to Barbados and given P/T no tests. Then they decided to keep him and do an MRI in Barbados. After this he was sent home, saw a doctor who took new MRI films and confirmed that he had Disc Hernia at L-5 S-1. Surgery was performed and he got the best possible care.
