Reporting to the Service Desk Manager, the Service Desk Analyst is responsible for responding to IT Service Desk events, including both Shipboard and Shoreside user requests.
The position has a high customer service focus, and will involve daily interaction across the business via telephone, email and face to face.

 
Key responsibilities of this position include:

    logging, escalation, resolution and documentation of all issues raised by business users
    management of operational security and management of user access to applications, infrastructure and devices
    escalating issues to contracted vendors where SLA's exist and IT Applications and Business Intelligence team as required
    building, configuring and installing new equipment, applications and Standard Operating Environments (SOE), including telephony and Audio Visual equipment in response to approved user requests

    IT-related tertiary qualifications or experience within a service desk role
    strong relationship building skills, with a focus on providing sound customer service
    excellent communication skills - both verbal and written
    initiative, resourcefulness and strong problem solving ability
