About Benefits

Salary – PAE offers competitive compensation packages, to include the base salary, 35% hazard uplift (while at Post), incidentals ($10/day while at Post), airfare reimbursement for R&R travel and a completion bonus.
Completion Bonus: Upon the successful completion of a twelve month contract, PAE pays a bonus equal to two months’ base salary.
Positions are salaried, based on 48-hour work weeks (8 hours/day, 6 days/week).
Employees are eligible to apply for the Foreign Earned Income overseas tax exemption on taxes (except FICA & Medicare tax). For more information regarding overseas tax exemption, refer to IRS Publication 54.
Single status assignments only.
Housing and meals are provided.
36 days paid vacation per twelve-month contract, with air travel reimbursed up to $6,000.
10 paid U.S. Holidays per year.
Medical and Vision insurance through CIGNA International (Medical and Vision insurance are mandatory and the premium is free for the employee for single coverage. Family members may be added for an additional cost.)   
Access to PAE’s on-ground medical team for sick calls.
Life Insurance coverage is provided by PAE in an amount equal to two times the employee’s annual salary.
Accidental Death and Dismemberment coverage.
Worker's Compensation - Employees receive workers' compensation benefits (Defense Base Act Insurance) as required by law.
Medical Evacuation - Emergency Medical Evacuation is provided through MEDEX.
All tools and work uniforms are provided by PAE on-site.
Employees may use the APO mail service to mail and receive envelopes and small packages.
Employees are allowed access to the PX now and Commissary (in the future).
