Verovatno je mislila na srednju turisticku (smer turisticki tehnicar), ili neku visoku turisticku skolu ( fakultet za hotelijerski menadzment, fakultet za menadzment u turizmu). To sve postoji na drzavnim fakultetima!
Kod mene u hotelu svi zaposleni u hotelskom delu imaju zavrsenu ili srednju turisticku ili neki od hospitality fakulteta.
Konkretno, Floor supervisor ima zavrsenu visu turisticku!
Tako da verovatno i na brodu za Floor supervisora treba makar srednja turisticka.

Skola mozda nije uslov, ali iskustvo svakako jeste!

Evo ti minimum requirements -  FS na kompaniji Royal Caribbean:
Hiring Requirements:
 • Minimum one year supervisory experience in housekeeping operation of large 4 or 5 Star hotels (500+ rooms), cruise line or hospitality industry related field required, with demonstrated experience supervising team of minimum of 10 employees
• Minimum of one to two years of guest room cleaning experience in 4 or 5 star hotel or cruise line equivalent
• Specific knowledge of principles and processes for providing exceptional customer and personal service including needs assessment, problem resolution, demonstrated strong attention to detail and achievement of quality service standards
• Ability to effectively deal with internal and external guests, some of whom will require high levels of discretion, patience, tact and diplomacy
• Ability to communicate diplomatically with supervisors and crew members to resolve problems and negotiate amicable resolution to challenges
• Flexibility to manage, direct and encourage a positive, dynamic, diverse Housekeeping Supervisor team by navigating through a changing work environment
• Should be able to utilize and administer the progressive disciplinary action process through coaching and counseling to improve performance where possible
• Ability to work positively and cooperatively in a diverse team environment to meet overall established timeframes for the Housekeeping division operation
• Should harbor a flexible outlook towards placement throughout the fleet, considering changing fleet-wide operational business needs • Working knowledge of cleaning procedures and equipment, chemical handling, linen par levels, public health standards, computers, internet access, and the ability to navigate within a variety of software packages (e.g. MS Office) and office equipment
• Completion of high school or equivalent required Internal Candidate Requirements: In addition to meeting all requirements listed above, internal candidates must have a minimum of 16 months experience as a Stateroom Attendant or Linen Runner and meet all requirements defined in the “Chart Your Course” program. Must have completed a minimum of 90 days in current position with demonstrated strong performance results. Language Requirements:
• Required to speak English clearly and distinctly, has aptitude to read and write English in order to understand and interpret written procedures, including the ability to give and receive instructions in written and verbal forms and to effectively present information and respond to questions from guests, supervisors and co-workers.
• Ability to speak additional languages such as Spanish, French, Italian or German required Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the shipboard employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to touch, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, talk or hear, and taste or smell. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception & ability to adjust focus. All shipboard employees must be physically able to participate in emergency life saving procedures and drills. Full use and range of arms and legs as well as full visual, verbal and hearing abilities are required to receive and give instructions in the event of an emergency including the lowering of lifeboats. Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

Minimum hiring, language and physical requirements to perform the job.

    * Knowledge of proper chemical handling.

    * Very strong communication, problem solving, decision making, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to manage the international staff in a positive and productive manner by motivating, developing and managing employees as they work. Ability to utilize and administer the disciplinary action process through coaching and counseling to improve performance or terminate employment.
    * Working knowledge of computers, Internet access, and the ability to navigate within a variety software packages such as Excel, Word or related programs.
    * Completion of relevant high school required.

Internal Candidate Requirements:

In addition to the stated hiring requirements, internal candidates are required to fulfill the following:

    * Completion of two contracts as a Stateroom Attendant with a performance rating of satisfactory or above along with demonstrated leadership skills.

Language Requirements:

    * Ability to speak English clearly, distinctly and cordially with guests.
    * Ability to read and write English in order to understand and interpret written procedures.  This includes the ability to give and receive instructions in written and verbal forms and to effectively present information and respond to questions from guests, supervisors and co-workers.
    * Ability to speak additional languages such as Spanish, French or German preferred.

Sve je to u redu, ali kada ik hitno treba ljudi, onda neka druga pravila važe, znate ono, bolje išta nego ništa, dovoljan je pasoš i da čovjek priča engleski.

ljudi, može pitanjce, da li floor supervisor vidi išta ili ništa od svih tih prekrrasnih mjesta, tj. kako stoje floor supervisori sa izlascima na kopno ?? :rolleyes:

Luna je bila na carnivalu i rekla da je radila dvije smjene od 8 do 1 ili 2 te od 5 pa do 11, 12 kako kada mislim da ima negdje taj post.
Znaci izmedu free time.
Biti lud ima prednosti kojih su samo ludaci svjesni !!!

Ja sam juce imao intervju za Carnival i danas sam saznao da sam prosao... Nemam nikakvog iskustva, ali sam u CVju naveo da imam, ali opet preporuke nisam poneo... Nemam hotelijerski fax. Engleski mi je jako dobar ne fluent, i imao sam 96 posto na Marlinsu, i samo engleski znam, nista nemacki, spanski itd. Intervjuer je bio neki Niksa, Hrvat. Vise smo caskali o mom trenutnom poslu i glupostima, nego sto me je nesto konkretno pitao... Najvise vremena je utrosio na to da mi prica o poziciji floor-a i kako je jako tesko raditi na brodu, ali sam ja uporno ponavljao da sam svestan toga i da imam ogromnu zelju da odem! Samo se drzite toga, smejte se, sedite pravo, lepo se obucite i ne dozvolite da vas necim isprovocira, kao sto je pokusao mene...
To bi bilo to, otprilike...

U BeGeDe-u, u MPSu kod Picinog parka, ne znam kako se sada bese zove, Mr. President valjda... Preko ovih talibana iz EP. Bilo je i za Pool and Deck Supervisore i ja mislim da je jedna devojka za stateroom stewardess prosla ali je vec bila na brodu, ima iskustva...
E, sada, ja sam prosao za fs, a excalibur valjda za PiDS, za ostale ne znam... Bilo nas je 15ak, jednu devojku su odbili nije znala da uradi Marlins...
