Shortly before 1:00pm, police received reports that a man drowned while swimming in waters off Cabbage Beach, Paradise Island. Police on arrival at the scene met the lifeless body of Caucasian male who was pulled from waters by nearby lifeguards. EMS personnel visited the scene and pronounced the man dead.The victim is reportedly an employee of the Celebrity Infinity Cruise Ship that was in port at Nassau Harbour. Investigations are ongoing.
