The launch of the Viking Travel Agent Academy comes at a key times in the line's history. A record-setting launch of ten Viking Longships in 2013 will be followed by an additional 14 Longships in 2014.In addition to its European cruises on the Danube, Rhine, Seine and Douro, the line is expanding into the Burgundy region of France in 2014. It will also venture into Tibet as part of its China river cruise program and offer cruises in Myanmar (Burma) as well.Viking Cruises' expansion is not limited to the world's rivers. In 2015 it will introduce its first ocean-going vessels. During its inaugural ocean cruise season, the 930-passenger Viking Star will offer itineraries on the Baltic and in Scandinavia, as well as the Western and Eastern Mediterranean. The design of the ship will invoke the Viking Longships. Its size will allow it to enter ports that more mainstream lines cannot access.A second Viking Ocean Cruises vessel is scheduled for delivery in 2016. And Viking Cruises reportedly has taken out options for an additional four ocean vessels.Plans also call for the line to expand into domestic river cruising. Viking Cruises president Tor Hagen has indicated that Viking Cruises will come to the Mississippi River at an unspecified time. In the summer of 2013, local media in Minnesota reported alleged details of a 340-passenger Viking ship to begin cruises in the fall of 2015.

Eto, prije tjedan-dva su se otvorile neke pozicije ali sad je već malo prekasno za mene. Aplicirao bih s ciljem da me prime za iduću sezonu, a nisam siguran ima li takav potez smisla.
Zašto da ne,sledeće godine Viking izbacuje i 2 okeanska broda,po prvi put u njihovoj floti.
Baš zbog toga ih i smatram trenutno najperspektivnijom kompanijom, neviđena ekspanzija. Inače, nisu dva nego će izbacivati po jedan brod godišnje.
