MAIN DUTIES
• Ownership: He takes initiatives in order to maintain exceptional Food Safety. He forwards ideas and comments that will improve standards throughout the Company. He runs the business as if he was the owner, keeping short and long term goals in mind when making decisions and requests for equipment, personnel, supplies and policy changes. He takes initiatives, he is inventive and creative when trying to solve issues and problems.
• Training and Development: He enthusiastically trains employees as it pertains to Food Safety and HACCP standards, and other mandatory classes that may arise. He becomes a leader that mentors others and helps them strive to improve and grow in their performance.
• Health and Safety: He has a thorough understanding of Food safety and Hygiene and is responsible for ensuring that all the personnel follow the rules and regulations as pertains to Health and Safety. He must maintain a healthy relationship with local authorities.
• Relationship Building: He builds up relationships with fellow managers across departments and sites “Camp Boss” to achieve goals and improve overall customers and employees satisfaction while encouraging teamwork. He empowers his team members to make decisions and to think “what is best for the business”.
• Working closely with the General Manager and the Operational Manager, he is responsible for the ongoing research, development and implementation of all Food related issues
He is responsible for implementing, maintaining and leading the food safety program for Company.
He is responsible for all aspects of food safety and HACCP program. Working closely with the General Manager and the Operation Manager, he is responsible for the maintain of the highest food safety quality. It is essential that the Safety Officer has the qualities to develop, guide and maintain a highly motivated, well trained and “upbeat and positive” food service. He will ensure that all company operations meet the highest standards expected by our costumers and in respect of our internal procedure.
