I was sent to t<span class=\"hps\">he ship<\/span> <span class=\"hps atn\">&#8220;<\/span>Independence <span class=\"hps\">of the Seas<\/span>&#8221; <span class=\"hps\">&#8211;<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">Royal Caribbean<\/span>.<br \/>\n<span class=\"hps\">Right at the<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">beginning, I have<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">to say<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">that the difference in<\/span> between <span class=\"hps\">ships<\/span>, <span class=\"hps\">comparing<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">the P&amp;<\/span><span class=\"hps\">O<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">Pacific<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">Pearl<\/span> and the <span class=\"hps\">Indy, is enormous<\/span>.<br \/>\n<span class=\"hps\">Indy<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">is<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">muuuuch much<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">better<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">and nicer<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">than<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">PP<\/span> <span class=\"hps atn\">(<\/span>Pacific <span class=\"hps\">Pearl<\/span>). <span class=\"hps\">The ship<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">is twice<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">higher than the<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">PP, it<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">has<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">consequently<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">almost<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">twice as many<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">passengers<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">and<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">a lot<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">more<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">crew<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"hps\">Comparing<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">Royal Caribbean<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">and<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">P&amp;O<\/span>, <span class=\"hps\">Royal is<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">well above<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">P&amp;O<\/span>.<br \/>\n<span class=\"hps\">Royal<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">crew<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">is being treated<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">much better<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">and<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">it is visible <\/span><span class=\"hps\">that a company takes care of its crew<\/span><span class=\"hps\">.<\/span><br \/>\n<span class=\"hps\">For example,<\/span> <span class=\"hps\"><span class=\"hps\">Royal Caribbean<\/span> is known to <\/span><span class=\"hps\">organize <\/span>crew party <span class=\"hps\">with free<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">food<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">and<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">drinks, at least <\/span><span class=\"hps\">once,\u00a0<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">if not<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">twice<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">a month<\/span>.<br \/>\n<span class=\"hps\">Then<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">organize<\/span> crew <span class=\"hps\">excursions to<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">ports,<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">of course, you have<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">to pay for<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">trips,<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">but that<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">is more than the P&amp;O is willing to offer.<\/span><br \/>\n<span class=\"hps\">They knew<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">organize<\/span> BBQ <span class=\"hps\">in<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">port<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">in Norway<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">sometime in<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">early May, which<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">is<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">something we Balkan crew appreciate, <\/span><span class=\"hps\">for missing <\/span><span class=\"hps\">May holidays at home. B<\/span><span class=\"hps\">arbecue<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">on the grass<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">around you,<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">the mountains and<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">the sea which is<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">calm<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">as a<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">river<\/span>, <span class=\"hps\">sunny and<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">warm day<\/span> &#8230; <span class=\"hps\">it works like a<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">charm.\u00a0<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">Also,<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">Royal<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">always<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">invest in<\/span><span class=\"hps\"> crew recreational activities.<\/span><br \/>\n<span class=\"hps\">A<\/span><span class=\"hps\"> few months ago<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">they invested in 10<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">Sony Playstations<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">4<\/span>, <span class=\"hps\">and<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">10 LCD<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">screens.<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">T<\/span><span class=\"hps\">he crew has<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">access to two<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">billiard table,<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">one<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">table tennis table,<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">pinball machine<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">and so on<\/span>.<br \/>\n<span class=\"hps\">The<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">crew<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">bar<\/span> w<span class=\"hps\">as recently renovated with<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">a<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">4-5<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">completely <\/span><span class=\"hps\">new<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">tables<\/span> <span class=\"hps atn\">(<\/span>as <span class=\"hps\">booths<\/span>, <span class=\"hps\">one designed for <\/span><span class=\"hps\">10 persons).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"hps\">Crew<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">bar is<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">much larger<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">than<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">the<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">Pacific<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">Pearl, it is<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">in the open<\/span> space, <span class=\"hps\">so<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">that <span class=\"hps\">smoking is allowed <\/span>in one<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">part of the<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">bar<\/span>.<br \/>\n<span class=\"hps\">E<\/span><span class=\"hps\">very evening<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">something<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">happens<\/span> ,<span class=\"hps\">you can get out<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">every evening,<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">and<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">always<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">have some type of fun, <\/span><span class=\"hps\">while<\/span> on <span class=\"hps\">the<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">PP<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">that<\/span>&#8216;s not the case.<br \/>\n<span class=\"hps\">Bar on the<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">PP is<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">much smaller<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">and during<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">the cruise<\/span> y<span class=\"hps\">ou can see<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">every evening<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">maybe<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">10<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">people,<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">mainly<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">retailers<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">and spa<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">girls<\/span>. <span class=\"hps\">Only<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">when there was organized party,<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">the<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">bar<\/span> was<span class=\"hps\"> full.<\/span><br \/>\n<span class=\"hps\">As for<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">those<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">small parties,<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">though the<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">bar<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">was smaller, those<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">organized<\/span> <span class=\"hps atn\">parties <\/span>were <span class=\"hps\">a lot<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">nicer<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">on<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">PP,<\/span> p<span class=\"hps\">erhaps it was precisely<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">because<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">the ship was<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">smaller and<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">people<\/span> were <span class=\"hps\">closer<\/span>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp; Just wanted to say hello after completing another contract with Harding Brothers.
