International Ships Support Group (ISSG), an International Business Company, has completed contracting arrangements for our sea-marshal team logistical support program. We have entered into agreements with various companies in Port Said, Egypt, The Republic of Seychelles, Dubai, UAE, Manila, Philippines and Mauritius in order to logistically support our team placement for embarkation and debarkation with merchant vessels.
International Ships Support Group is engaged in deploying 8-man sea-marshal teams for anti-piracy operations. Most companies have focused on the Gulf of Aden, and have not included the balance of active piracy areas in the region.
We know that in order to maximize effectiveness, we must be as flexible as possible to meet our client’s requirements. Our deployment is contracted on a quarterly basis, thus giving the most cost effective service in the industry. In addition, having the ability to place our teams throughout the region, gives our clients the most flexible risk management planning ability in the industry.
In addition, we have just entered into a memorandum of agreement with Kneeland Risk management and Security Consulting services. Together, we can provide our clients with the best services for their risk management decisions. Kneeland Risk Management and Security Consulting also operates globally and provides risk assessments and information relevant to the protection of maritime assets.
Piracy is not confined to the Gulf of Aden. We have the ability to accompany any transit from Manila to the Suez Canal, and any route or destination in between, Therefore covering all the active piracy areas in the Asia Pacific Region, the Middle East and East Africa, with real time intelligence capabilities.
These waypoints also give us the ability to provide true service to our clients. We believe that our teams must work in a cohesive relationship with the ships crew to effectively combat piracy. We board a vessel two to three days before transiting known piracy areas and work with the crew to establish a well defined, fluidly managed defense.
When a company contracts for our teams, they are able to use that team on any ship in their fleet, on any transit for the duration of the contract. That teams is dedicated to that client throughout the contract period giving the most flexibility available for decision making to the client.
With over 200 men available, we can meet any maritime security need.Michael Murrell
