Hello Everyone,

I worked on Caribbean Princess for 3 months (second contract) when I decided to sign off due to a lot of bad things happening at the time.
I will briefly tell you about the case.
The first contract in Iceland went well. I worked in the housekeeping department as an accommodation attendant.
The second contract, when I arrived in the Caribbean, I caught the red level (elevated medical alert) for 2 months. I was sick 4 times, the passengers gave up on the cruise and the salary was barely 800 dollars…
I decided to go home and of course I talked to the person from human resources, everything was fine and normal, I signed the paper and then when I thought that the trouble was over, all the money from the card disappeared… the money is nowhere to be found.
I went to the crew office and filled out the paper and went to the human resources so that the boss would tell me that it’s best to stay until the matter with the money is resolved.. I stayed for another month.. until they paid me everything.
It turned out that someone made a clone card and spent the money as they wanted…someone from Mexico.

Anyway, I’ve been home for 7 months.
While I was on the ship I was told that I had to wait for the “cool off” period to pass in order to get rehired.
How long does that period last, and what are my chances to get rehired?
Thank you to everyone who takes the time to read and respond.
