How did you hear about the work on cruise ships?
I researched on the internet.
I spent long time “getting to know” with a variety of companies, jobs, conditions, requirements and demands of employers, the advantages and disadvantages of these jobs that are offered … In the end, I met a couple of people who themselves are already working on the ships, learned from them the most I wanted to know, and decided to try it.

What attracted you to apply for jobs on cruise ships?
Secure job, salary and traveling around the world. Something new, exciting, different.
Relationships with people, personal and professional development, many things that I could not have bought by sitting at home in front of a computer screen and losing years like that.

Over which agency you went to work on cruise ships and why that agency in particular?
The first and only agency that I called was Belgrade’s agency Safe Cruise.
First of all, after a lot of research on the companies and their conditions, I saw Safe Cruise employed in the company in which I wanted to go.
Also, the agency is in my home city, which makes things easier. I got a quick response from them, and a call for an interview. I had a fair relationship with them until the “end”, or my embarkation.

What company and the position you applied for and why?
I signed up for the company Princess Cruises, for the simple reason that I really like their working conditions, and because a couple of my friends have worked for them, which meant a lot to me, and it was crucial to my decision. Personal experience no recommendation of outsiders can replace.
I applied for the position of the photographer as someone who is involved in photography five years before that, and as someone who has the greatest love of photography.
