MSC Cruises IT Assistant (got the job!)

Hello to all in the group, and I must admit that I stumbled upon a very good and “real” comments by the veterans of this forum.
I’d like to go over my situation, and possibly get some good additional advice!

I finished state College of Electrical Engineering and Computing in Belgrade, specialized in E-business, and acquired all necessary cruise ship certification, even for cargo vessels.
I applied for a MSC Cruises IT Assistant job in January, and they called me a couple of days ago, when I passed the interview, and was informed to be joining a MSC cruise ship on May 2nd in Venice.
The man who is in charge of new recruits has told me that it is necessary to show “basic knowledge of network” at work, and sent me the following email:

Good Day,

It’s not easy to make a list of what kind of knowledge is required.
Probably I will write a long list of items and surely I will forget something.

Anyway, the onboard IT dept (1 Manager + 1 asst.) Is in charge of all the operation and maintenance of the entire IT structure.
It means:
Hardware (periodic maintenance, repair, new installation, …)
Software (OS and app installation / configuration, on Windows and Linux Server / PC)
Database operation, SQL
Networking (firewall, proxy, switch, access point and all network devices installation / configuration)
Net structure, IP address, subnet, DHCP, DNS, …
Cable and Wifi connection

Now, they told me that I would have “onboard training session” that lasts three weeks and that the contract is 1 month long, so if they are satisfied with me, I’ll sign on the second part of contract.
I haven’t had any extensive experience with networks, so please if somebody would like to tell me at least some information on what should I focus in 15 days before embarkation, because I’m ready to learn and to prove myself!
